Happy Earth Day everyone! One of the best ways to celebrate is to grab a few of your fellow 7 billion earthlings, go outside and share some food, fresh air and sunlight (or rain or snow, depending on where you are).
The Nature Conservancy has created meetups all over the world that you can jump on and participate in with like-minded members of your species. To find out more, go here.
This is what the environmental movement is all about–celebrating the beautiful planet we all share, appreciating its preciousness, its beauty and power, and its constant gifts to us. It is sustenance and sustainability in a perfect package and it’s so worth fighting for. Go find a few square inches to sit down and just say thank you. Then break out the food and say thank you again. After all, where do you think that chow came from?
